Ngl…i see a lot of dislike for the z63 on yt now…people comparing it to cinecams, comparing it to medium format cams… but that seems to be its biggest strength: its an insane Package with uber-high end video features AND basically a perfect medium mp Stills camera for wedding photography at THE SAME TIME… im hyped for what Nikon did there

doesn't really show the autofocus since the subject is the same distance from the camera the whole time, so the autofocus pretty much does what? nothing?

Yeah switch it to still mode see whether it can keep up with basketball match with lots of interruptions from players hahaha and fast moving sports

To be honest that’s not much of an impressive test. You could have shot the exact same take with manual focus… the focal plane was the same the whole time.

I don’t know, maybe have the camera lock focus onto one person and have two or more walk towards the camera at different speeds, zig zagging and crossing paths. If the camera maintains focus on the same individual the whole time then you have some nice reliable tracking with subject recognition…
