I’ll never understand why people are so offended or scared of electric powered cars or airplanes. It’s not perfect and has a long way to go but why not invest in something new? I love the idea and with time, these designs, batteries, motors, etc… will only get better.
You mention it’s battery powered and people immediately scoff at the idea because it doesn’t go Mach 2 with a range of 2, 000 miles. That’s not what it’s designed to do!
Thanks for the interview! Would love to see some more in depth looks at it in the future!

Saw it as the show and wondered if it actually flew. Then I saw the one parked at the seaplane base. Pretty cool! I could see this being useful for parachute operations as well.

I want to know what the runup procedures are.

Absurdly Rediculous low flight times and your trips would REALLY have to be pre-planned out.

You'll notice they never talk about range and useful payload. Especially with a reserve charge . Nice idea but battery technology is nowhere near where it needs to be for this to work in a commercially viable way. Once the tech gets there, then there's the matter of getting it approved for commercial use. Good luck navigating that quagmire. I also wonder about the wisdom of 600 volts on an aircraft that's going to be used predominantly in a salt water
