You can go to 4 digits in all the recent Monster Hunter games so you can likely go above 999.

If we are talking combo's im hitting over 3k my strong attacks is doing 1600 on my switch axe....my build its not mid maxed yet still doing rng....if you're curious im using blast for raw damage affinity is sitting a 77% crit damage is at 40% with blast damage at 130 witch puts me at 410 ontop of my base stat of 700 totaling 1100 damage on my weapon

How do u get on top of monster. Ive seen and donloke a Shield smashing ontop of monsters etc while holding on to a monster often the head part?
