why do we adjust the depreciation of 80 there, Isnt it adjusted in the retained earinhgs.? Can you explain the logic

Great one; I really do not understand how you got that depreciation value of 400, you only stated that 'dep is 400', you didn't explicitly state how you adjusted the carrying value with the new given fair value figure

How to find the order of these lectures?

I guess we should not have eliminated dividend received from Group Retained earnings. It should have been added to Cash. Cash in our SOFP should be 425 and Group Equity 3, 985. Am I wrong?
