Revelation and COVID-19

Dr. G. K. Beale discusses the fourth seal in Revelation 6:7–8. Looking to the Old Testament background of Ezekiel 14:21, Beale argues that the judgments described in the opening of the fourth seal would not necessarily stop in the common grace realm at the return of Christ. These judgments have a twofold purpose: to judge those who are hardened and to recover and strengthen the remnant in faith. Beale explains how the present COVID-19 pandemic may be an example of these judgments.

Covid 19 in the book of Revelation Chap. 6, verse 2. The word CROWN means Corona in the Latin. The word BOW means Toxon in the Greek, but Toxon translated to the Latin means toxicus or toxicum which means toxic or poisonous. Toxic also comes from the Greek “toxikón, ” meaning, “bow poison.” The etymology of the word Virus comes from the Latin word (virus) which means Poison. So, the words Corona + Virus in the Latin could be translated, Crown + Bow.
