I know it’s a prank but in case anybody is curious, it is actually illegal to sell any item before the release date of the item, which includes anything a store can sell not just games. Remember when I worked I had some guy try to buy a lego set (seemed like a lego enthusiast) and when I attempted to scan it, it immediately popped up a message saying it hasn’t been released and wasn’t for another 6 days. He tried saying “oh well it was on the shelf with everything else so you have to sell it” and managers got involved to tell him it’s the law and target can get fined a very hefty sum for selling even just one item early
