Totally agree with the 5/20 rule. I include Real Estate in that formula as part of my investments. Best book I ever read about investing was "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. I'd recommend investing young for sure. Remember the "Rule of 72".

It’s crazy Kevin’s growth on YouTube. I’ve been watching him since his start on YouTube when his intro was a little guitar riff he made himself. Pretty cool how he grew this channel as a business. Invested very little in the beginning, saw his content was good, gained subs, gained sponsorships, and more and more does he increase his production. He has the money to buy all the cool YouTuber stuff but he waited and it’s been awesome seeing him put what he preaches into practice.

Diversification becomes more important once your portfolio is around $10k. If you're only investing with $2k, go big or go home. That's if your goal is to make money fast. If your goal is slow growth, then diversification at any level is fine.
