Jeff Lynn can't possibly be recognized enough for his contribution to Rock n Roll. He won't be appreciated until he passes, and he'll be more recognized when the artists he's worked with pass as well. He's a legend that most people won't recognize until after he's gone. He's amazing.

Jeff Lynn's producing ability is equal to his music and writing artistry. He's master in the booth...

ELO walks onstage. Who the hell is ELO? a huge crowd packed into Pacific Coliseum. 17, 000 Deep Purple fans, question answered in seconds as ELO tore into their setlist. This was 1975. My generation. ELO soon to become world famous. First band I ever heard live.

Jeff Lynne wrote this song in an afternoon. While making the album "Face the Music" they realized that there wasn't a single yet so, Jeff sent the others away to the pub while he sat down and got to work. By the time they came back he had "Evil Woman" basically ready for them to start rehearsing.
Jeff is a bloody genius.

"Don't Bring Me Down" should probably be your next ELO song. "Sweet Talkin' Woman" is my personal favorite, but if you did another ELO poll and included "Don't Bring Me Down", I think that it would win. Definitely do both songs eventually. Then there are more fine ELO songs after you hit those two.

My kids (they're now your age) used to ask me to play "Medieval Woman" for them in the car from their booster seats. A family favorite!

Gotta do "End of the Line" with the Traveling Wilburys next. It's such a fantastic low-key jam. Also, remember that when you listen to any Wilbury stuff, they only spent maybe a week or two writing and recording each album. They weren't trying to be some super-group. They were just a bunch of guys who liked to do a jam session with each other.

The full story of how they got together for the album is really fantastic, definitely look into it if you get a chance.

There is no one that doesn't love Jeff Lynn and ELO. There were so many hits these guys did for years on end. Very prolific and most enjoyable.

"Sweet Talking Woman" and "Don't Bring me Down" are the first ELO songs that comes to mind whenever ELO are mentioned. Avid fan back in the day and still am.!!! Happy Birthdays Andy and Alex. Rock on!!!!

Another ELO song I personally love is “All Over the World”. Some may say it’s too “poppy” but if the song sounds great, who cares?

Jeff Lynne is such a bad ass that Paul, George and Ringo chose him to produce the 2 new songs they did for the Anthology.

"Roll Over Beethoven" for the next ELO song. "Handle With Care" for Traveling Wilburys/

Virtually EVERY ELO song is sheer perfection -- in large part because Jeff Lynne is a perfectionist and maintained control of every portion of the production -- from writing the song to seeing it through to the recording.

Strange Magic or Can't Get it Out of My Head (preferably preceded by the Overture). There are so many ELO songs left.

You will not be dissapointed with The TRAVELING WILLBURRIES. But you forgot ROY ORBISON who you guys havent hit up yet. "YOU GOT IT" is an absolute masterpiece and hes known for his beautiful unique voice even amongst the other WILLBURRIES
