⬇️POTATO PICKING TIPS⬇️
🥔 Once the flowers die off and the tips of the leaves begin to yellow and brown, the potatoes are ready for picking.
🥔Not all potato plants will produce flowers. That’s ok. They’ll still produce potato tubers without them.
🥔Freshly picked homegrown potatoes have delicate skins - I don’t wash any of my potatoes until I’m ready to use them.
🥔I store them in the cold room. In a paper bag. They can also be stored in sand and last months.
🥔Beware of potato bugs! Check out my recent video for more info on these and how to eradicate them!
