Normal sudoku rules apply. Digits next to each other on a green line must have a difference of at least 5. An orange line contains a consecutive sequence of digits, with no repeats, not necessarily in order. Digits cannot repeat in cages, which contain their sums. The white dot joins two consecutive numbers.

Novice here - this is the first "non-standard" sudoku on your channel that I was able to solve wholly on my own! Took me 4x as long lol, but that'll change with practice. Great introduction to German whispers and Renban lines, I finally understand the mechanics of both a bit better. Thanks for the very fun and very approachable challenge!

1:08:11 this was my first time doing renban lines and German whisper lines but it felt amazing to do. I've only recently started to do sudoku puzzles usually just watched you guys to help with anxiety but since the latest GAS video I've tried to do more and more of them.

I used to strongly prefer Simon's videos, but now that I'm more familiar with Sudoku I really appreciate Mark's concise explanations.

13:52 ... took me longer to get started than I thought it would, but once I did find the break-in, things went fairly smoothly for me.

Fun puzzle!

Perfect title for the video. Definitely approachable and a lot of fun. I like the way the last deadly pattern is disambiguated using the "no repeats" on the orange lines rule

Definitely approachable - my first solve from this channel that I managed without a peek at the video! I had to start over once but my second attempt took me 17:52!

Finally, a sudoku that makes me feel smart. Instead of, well, the opposite. Thank you!

Lovely little puzzle.

I'd love to see a similar puzzle where there are two types of lines, and they make up two puzzles. Do it first with the red being Renban and the Blue being German Whispers, and then the second puzzle switches that, or brings in a new type of line or something.

46:41, first German whispers puzzle! Great solve, it's always fun to watch after I'm done to see the difference between my breakthrough and yours.

Finished and enjoyed it. I like that when I seemed stuck, fully penciling in a whisper line was usually enough to quickly get me going again.

32:01 - got stuck a couple times, the big one was when I didn't notice that I couldn't make 14 with an 8 in box 2. I included it because I could use a 1, but when I eliminated the 1, I didn't recheck the 8.

That was my first time attempting a puzzle before watching the video. Took me about 30 minutes and I'm proud of it. That was fun!

1:31 I solved it over a video call together with my boyfriend who's currently visiting family in the US, we had so much fun!

Even after solving a puzzle feeling that was easy one learns much watching Mark and Simon solve. They consider every single option/possibility while I end up missing one sometimes realizing the mistake and having to roll back. In this case the 13 cage had to be a 4 and 9 was an easy conclusion but the position of 4 on the corner of the Renban wasnt since the green line crossed two boxes. I also liked how Mark used parity to eliminate 8 in the cage R4C6.

35:13 - pleasantly surprised by this one, thought it was going to be a lot harder based on looks, but it was a nice path to follow
