I worked there as a teenager, they show new hires a motivational video about how healthy they are and how all their products are farmed within 100 miles. When I found out all their produce and meat was from other countries or at minimum several states away I asked about it and they proceeded to fire me.
True story. Thought alot about hiring a lawyer and suing them, kind of wish I had.

Chipotle should switch to avocado oil. That would be a great for marketing

In the modern world, food cooked in a commercial setting is nearly always toxic.

I have UC and when I order a very plain bowl from Chipotle that consists of double steak/chicken, white rice and maybe some avocado and cotija cheese, it destroys me for 2-3 days. At first I thought maybe it was the cheese or the fiber from the avocado, however, when I made a similar meal at home it seemed to digest well and I felt great. Always wondered what it was about Chipotle....

i love when the seed oil simps defend seed oils with.. "seed oils arent bad, they are often found along with processed food and that what is bad", forgetting to mention that seed oils themselves are one of the most processed "things" (dont even want to call them "food") on the planet.

There is virtually no where safe to eat out in the UK. Everywhere cooks in either refined sunflower or rapeseed oil. Part of the issue is the absolute lack of awareness of how rapeseed and sunflower seed oil is produced. What can we ask food vendors to deep fry in please Paul?

I never had Chipotle and I was really wishing on trying it one day. But not after I've learned this now.

You are one of the top leaders in informing everyone about the poisons that they put in our food.

We truly live in a sick society. That’s all about profits and cares. Nothing about the livelihood of one another. It’s truly sad it’s people like you that make us feel like we actually have a friend in the world. Thank you.

The thing is even if they stop using these oils and advertise another method you just know even if its classed as a healthy one like olive oil or avocado oil there will be something toxic in the way they do it or put it in.

Yeah, good luck with that. Corporations use whatever is the cheapest. Regardless of the implications to our health.

Weren’t seed oils originally developed to be used as diesel fuel, but were supplanted when petroleum based diesel became the economical choice?

The question is: are all the other "southwestern grills" also the same? The gut bomb is named that for a reason. Not just because its insanely huge. --yes, she did say that.

I love chipotle and would gladly pay a reasonable amount more if they got rid of seed oils. I'm sure many other people would agree too

Paul if people live far away from the equator would you still suggest they eat fruit and honey that normally wouldn’t be available in their area?

Considering how much their prices have gone up they have no excuse.

when i saw the title i thought you were going to talk about chipotle as in the product: dried chili. well chipotle is actually smoked, however i have been wondering about chilipepper which is a fruit, is it ok to eat?

Hey - I make my own chipotle. Smoke some jalapeno and dry it - or have I just missed the point? The question I have is whether I should be consuming smoked peppers?
