Best european Metal newcommer in my opinion, this man is a gamechanger. Technique tweaked to perfection and the musicality is still over the top. Dynamics for years. I'm absoluetly in love with his playing.

Those drums sound like cannons. This is the EXACT sound I want from my drums. Love it.

I never realised a drum solo could sound like it was telling a story absolutely 👏

This is my dream kit. Blacked out starclassic kit with hyperdrive toms with meinls surrounding it. His drum kit sounds absolutely amazing. Those toms are pure heaven. Tama is really taking over man. To my ears they've been neck and neck with dw but comparing dw and Tama prices, the starclassics are a lot better drums compared to dw's performance series kits which compete with the starclassics in that price range. Also tama's lower priced kits such as the silverstar and superstars are still great kits at that price. Now beginners to intermediate drummers can actually have a quality drum set now for a low price compared to back in the day. I still like dw collectors series kits with the unlimited customization but it's just way too much money and comparing tama's flagship Star drums, I would probably pick the Star's over the collectors. Dw collectors has more options as far as the looks and exotics and endless possibilities but sound wise I love them both, but starclassics are my shit.

Edit- I absolutely can't stand dw's anymore and definitly not neck and neck. Tamas sound and feel and look a million times better and the hardware you get on tama kits especially the newer starclassics they've brought down from the flagship star drums like the quick lock rack Tom brackets and floor Tom legs along with the air cushioned floor Tom legs and the new swivel wing mounting system is the best and most versatile I've ever seen and played. DW hardware on their overpriced kits is so basic and nothing special. Nobody has hardware on their kits the way tama does and how they innovate and invent all types of crazy shit to make drummers lives easier and more enjoyable. Seriously, the quick lock Tom brackets are the best thing to me. I'm OCD about having my drums set up exactly the same each time each show and the quick locks just make it so fast to break down and set up without wasting time to find the Tom height and angle. It's just memory locks with a switch that stays and u literally flip a switch to take off the Tom, it's absolutely insane and the way the toms and floor toms bounce a tiny bit when u hit them makes them feel so smooth and comfortable. No other kit has these features besides tama. I have a 2016 tama starclassic BB 5 piece hyperdrive kit and it's the best bang for your buck. All those features and I got the exact sizes and finish I wanted for only 1, 969 shipped straight from the tama warehouse. You just can't beat that. This video convinced me to get hyperdrive toms and I do not regret it, I much prefer hyperdrive toms over traditional sized deeper toms but u can't go wrong with any tama starclassic drum no matter what size you prefer.

Hes got virgils 2000's mix on his kit. Tuning and all. That kick to snare mix is flawless.

I like how he sort of plays a melody in his solo.

any idiot who disliked this has no drumming sense. Sebastian Lanser is by far the most gifted drummer I have heard in a very long time. I was brought up on Zepplin and Rush. This guy would smoke both of those guys.

Anybody else notice A Night In Tunisia incorporated in his solo?

This is so weird. The playing is superb, drums sound fantastic, the cymbals are great, cameras are very well positioned, the editing is on point, lights are also great, everything really professional... and there's that shitty foot camera horribly placed with no dedicated light whatsoever allowing us to see nothing but some drum hardware, the meinl logo, some leg movement and a lot of dissapointment. WTF Tama?
Great video though.

I think Thomas Lang is one of his major influences, by what he chose to play in this solo.

He has the fastest double kick I've ever heard - quite amazing to sustain that.
