The social movements of the 1950s & 1960s paved the way for a country more aligned with the Constitution and Bill of Rights. However, I believe, as soon as former presidents began taking large sums of money for just 1 speaking engagement that paved the way for America to become an oligarchy, which in the end takes fascism to uphold. Today former presidents expect to live like Kings in mansions by the sea, and soon America will become a fascist state because most Americans are clueless to the unorthodox fascist coup occurring across the country.
