Importance of child restraints

This IIHS crash test demonstrates what happens to unrestrained children in a frontal crash. About a third of children under 13 who were killed in crashes in 2019 weren't restrained. That's more than 200 kids.

Being a police officer I have seen so many horrific accidents like this. I can never understand why anyone would take that risk.

And here in India, kids stand in the back seats leaning against the front seats. Can't imagine how horrific it would be if a child would be yeeted out of the car through the front window

Horrific to see what could happen, but also amazing to see the multi-stage technology of that passenger side airbag! That 2nd stage basically threw the dummy upwards into the windshield😮

I know this is serious ( please use seatbelts, make your kids use them, and properly secure small children ), but seeing the kid dummy fly towards the dash in slow motion was hilarious to me.
