Such a shame, and such a waste. It's so dumb that Microsoft would not accept *any* offers to buy the company, and instead decided to *just* shut it down. Like, wow. "No we dont want your money this thing is losing us money so we're going to kill it instead of taking your money"

Grew up playing Fable..My sister was pissed to find that Fable legends wasn't going to come out as she was part of the beta and that the studio is gone..R.I.P Fable

I miss Lionhead in general. Loved the Fable series and Black and White. I would do anything to see a revamped black and white.. But I've given up on that happening long ago. heh.

I wasn't able to get fable anniversary, but i still have the original fable, lost chapters (which in my opinion is the best) and an xbox 360 to play it on, so I think I'm good

I'm going to miss the fable franchise. I grew up playing it and loved it all. it's so sad that it has to die because of Microsoft's greed to getting more money. so much potentially for more story of Albion left untapped.

Unfortunate news, fable 2 was a great game. I was hoping they would return back to form after the disappointment that was fabe 3, which wasn't a bad game but was limited compared to fable 2.
