extremely late analysis but if i make it super good you might come back so


ok so we start an we got kanna and her bucket wow and wowie shin looks so happy cause his wish was fullfilled. but then we got midori be like hey good sir which makes shin go the big no and get sad. then he falls back and the fact that then miley gives him the list is important because this means its at the beginning, where shin’s shadow (which probably represents midori) is talking to him and stuff. so when midori says there you are its like his ‘ghost’ of their friendship cause he was his scary friend? yea idk.

then miley hands him the survival rate and shin goes like oh so now hes sow (sou) the pig and starts goin a bit insane. then we have realization and sara joe and then midori, but only midori facing fowards. could represent that sow (shin) hates everyone equally and wants them all to die, but midori is currently his main focus (might change in 3-2 and that would be interesting)

then we have call me fighter with shin, probably like fighting his 0.0% chance (lol imagine) and then we have kanna and then her execution :( at a part that sounds like vote you cause none of this would have happened to shin if i didnt… i mean sara didnt vote for kanna. then we got call me lover with midori cause like happy during their toxic friendship? idk lol. then we have mai and her hands (self explanatory)

then we got midori in his coffin and his eye goes happy cause he cant wait to experiment on humans! yayyy! the we got meister and midori abouta die in his coffin and then he does die. but the interesting thing is we dont see sow (shin) reactiom cause *he* might not be sure if hes mad or sad or happy or anything

anyway this animation was amazing and you are extremely talented. even if im super late, i love your work. you dont need to come back (or maybe you have a reason to not) but youre amazing. thank you for this :)

im literally a YEAR LATE but i still hope you see this
i am currently in depression from yttd and been replaying this for the past week straight. i seriously cant even express how much i love this, probably my favorite yttd animation yet BUT SERIOUSLY - the music fits perfectly, the artstyle is literally perfect, greatly showcased shin's and midori's relationship (with also poor kanna) ashgjd i just cant i seriously love this with all my heart. + pretty rare to find yttd stuff in 2023 so this will be now my coping mechanism thank you.
ANOTHER + : i just found out the songs meaning and im even more sad: "The most popular interpretation is that the song is about identity and either trying to be someone you're not in order to do something, or being forced to be a certain way by someone else." (shin's whole character summed up)
