we are so lucky to have the things our ancestors only could dream of...

I flew hangliders many years ago (late 1970's) and was given an incredible sail plane experience In the late 1980's and was given the stick for a few minutes. Then the pilot finished the flight with a 10 foot of the ground fly by ending with a straight up ascent when he the completed a three leaf and landed. One of the greatest experiences of my life. I enjoyed watching you prepare and take care of you're aircraft in pursuit of what you obviously love to do. I subscribed to ejou your enthusiasm and you're beauty. I lived in Germany as a child many MANY years ago. My dad was in the US Army. He had a friend with a glider, and he took me and my brother for rides every once in a while. I do not remember where this took place. But I remember well how it felt to be winched off the side of a mountain in the Alps. It was sometime in the early 60's. We were stationed at Garmisch.

Got to ride in one back in 1985 while stationed in Germany. What a thrill! Especially since I have a fear of heights. I enjoyed the ride, but, I was real happy to get back on the ground.
