How to Boot Kali from a Portable Live USB

If you want a more portable way to use Kali Linux, a bootable live USB flash drive is the way to go. That way, you can hop from one computer to the next and still be able to boot up Kali from the BIOS or the startup manager. In this episode of Cyber Weapons Lab, we'll show you how to install Kali Live on a USB drive with Etcher, adjust your boot options in the BIOS utility (yours may be a different process depending on your computer and OS), boot into Kali with or without persistence, and configure Kali for 2021.

I installed the latest live image on a pendrive with unallocated space. The flash to pendrive was successful, but when i boot from the drive, a CLI appears stating "grub>" and allows for an input, when i type something, it gives an error stating "kernel not found at [what i typed]", searched Google, but did not get any solution to my specific problem, there are similar problems which suggest that files on pendrive might be corupt, but this does not seem to be the case with me though, please help.

Etcher does not work. Windows makes me format my disk afterwards. I used Rufus and had no problems.

Hi sir, I regularly watch your video and learn different things. I am a beginner in cybersecurity field. Recently l made a bootable 64 GB pendrive with persistance to install kali linux but When I start my hp laptop boot menu these writing is shown

1)USB Hard Drive(UEFI)

2) OS Boot Manager(UEFI)-Windows Boot Manager ( AZ-nvme-A1000-128GB)

3)Boot From EFI

And then when I enter first option then this pou up was

Minimal BASH- like line editing is supported. For the first word,
TAB list possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB list possible devices or file completions.

one the best features a live usb boot provides is direct access to the hardware unlike with virtual machines so do i still need usb wifi adapter while running the usb boot?

If install packages in live will they remain installed on a reboot? What about live encrypted persistence? Or will I have to install packages every single time

Is it possible to save settings and data with live boot? I want to create a boot stick that automatically starts when the stick is plugged in.

Boot from bios, when in the install, it wants me to mount the usb.... won't let me. Only wants disc. Then from windows it's always missing the file to install Linux. 🤷‍♂️ maybe get a DVD written with kali and boot that way.... I dont get it
