Absolutely disagree with the costume. Homelander's costume is much more detailed and I really like the mix of gold, blue, red and white. Plus his hair matches the costume very well. I also really like the design. His costume in the comics is even better because of the cape design.

Complexity and concept go to Omni-man. He was struggled between the loyalty to viltrumite and the love to humanity. He deceived himself that his wife is just a pet, his son is a tool, and he did it so well that everyone, including himself got deceived.

Dude idk about writing in terms of writers but Anthony Starr KILLED it as Homelander. That scene where Homelander goes through a range of emotions in like the span of a few seconds, THAT performance is just phenomenal.

I think what I like most about Homelander is that he is a walking contradiction: a baby and a tyrant

He has a God Complex but a few mean words can hurt his ego
He’s easily the most powerful character but gets put down by people weaker than him or with no powers
He rejects his humanity yet still wants love and approval
He is a violent sociopath who torments the people around him but is hurt when they leave him
He kills anyone who opposes him but also wants to be opposed
He is simultaneously a great manipulator but also one of the most easy to manipulate characters in the story

I proly would lean backstory to homelander if you know, you know. There are some parts to the show that You can see homelanders trauma and emotions like the blanket scenes. Scenes like that are which I like, still think Nolan is better
