Martin County Sheriff's Deputy rescues dog from hot car

The owner of a dog called the Sheriff's Office to report that she had mistakenly locked her dog in her car.

I wish they treated their (MCSO) drug sniffing dogs with more care and respect.
Officers yank their leashes unmercifully and then put them in a hot car without
air conditioning on. These dogs work very hard and need to be treated better.
It’s sad to see such disrespect for an animal that officers are entrusted with
their care. It’s been documented that over 40% of male police officers beat
their wives or girlfriends. Some just take their frustrations out on innocent
animals.
