Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen was trapped on Dragonstone by her brother King Aegon ii with no way to escape her fate. What was to come was the final showdown between the two main players of the dance of the dragons and bring the war into its final phase. The House of the dragon was crumbling and the events that was about to follow would only cause more damage to both sides of the war.

Absolutely one of my favorite houses in asoiaf. I think moving to the North was a better move for them. They control the only city in the North and I imagine they might be richer now than they were in the Reach and maybe even more powerful, but I would love to know more about what they were like in the reach, where Dunstondbury was located and how powerful they really were since the Gardeners were growing fearful of their 'growing' strength...Loved the video!

House Manderly enjoyed certian positions during targaryn rule unlike other houses in the north. Manderly had a chance to join with the mad king but they were more loyal to their liege lords than the king. In winds of winter Manderly may play an important role. An avenge for the Red wedding in the same manner. Unlike the other houses in the north Manderlys are calculative and cunning.

I've been fond of the Manderlys since I first read the books. They are a wildcard House in my opinion. They are loyal Stark vassals, but they aren't completely Northern in their thinking.
