PS5 Scalped price $700. 2 tb SSD $300. If I get a PS5 Pro $800 plus a 4tb SAG (because I stripped the screw putting the other one in) $300. Another $1, 100. That’s $2, 000 just to get the performance I was promised for the PS4 Pro and the PS5.

Why is this such an issue, so basically, Sony is hoping that everyone will be running out to get hold of a PS5 Pro? Hmm, sure it may look better to those who can afford to get one, but for those people (50%) playing CoD 6 on their PS4, will look up and say "that's nice" and continue playing their game.

There were reports that Sony demanded that games not look or run better on Xbox Series X than on PS5. I wonder if any games will get a bump on XSX now. Probably not.

Realistically if anything this is an embarrassment for PlayStation, they shouldn't have even done it. Because now we've been sitting with the Xbox premium console from the date of launch and here they are with a mid-gen refresh and a pro console that costs an astronomical amount of money for something that is passed halfway of its shelf life for this current generation. If anything, they should have had this preloaded and launched it at the same time as Xbox launched both of their consoles, but they did not. And because they did not, they should have either had an immediate follow-up or not moved at all. If the price was going to be too great, which it is. And let's not even talk about that stupid handheld thing they tried

Console for me is ease of use and of course price. Just an rtx 4060 alone cost more than a series x but gives close to the same performance.

Here in Canada, Playstation 5 pro is 960$+ taxes without the disc and stand...xbox series x, you can get for around 600$ overall, you can almost fit the series x twice in the most expensive Playstation squew for just a little bit more performance...is it really worth it?

I like your xbox leaning channel. Keep at it, your style will be a hit as you grow and evolve. One “tip” from an old gamer (I bought Pong in Sears - yikes). always have a beginning a middle and an end. You have a great beginning simple to the point. You have a good middle, but you have no ending sequence. You just sort of “pull the plug”.

Maybe, tongue in cheek, have a “It ain’t hockey but its good” game recommendation. Just a short mention the name of a good game that you will give more info about on the next days show. Or some “running gag-ish” theatrical conclusion to the show.

Your 5am start (in LA where I live) is great. Consistency is a key. 😊
