Freaks is a 1932 movie by Tod Browning and it is one of my favorite movies of all time. While I consider it to be a horror film, it is, at it's heart, a story about humanity; how we should treat one another kindly. Because, if you mistreat others... Well, you reap what you sow. I plan on doing a longer video about Freaks because it is such a great movie and I want everyone to watch it. Just saw it and I can’t believe how good it was it kept me interested the entire time and I have never been able to watch an entire film from this era without falling asleep … this is ahead of it’s time and I can see it’s influence in many things I’ve already seen and pop culture! It’s crazy and the ending is to the point not dragged on like most. 👏 also AHS freak show took most it’s inspiration from this and reality of circus folk of the era that part is sad 😞

My favorite character in the movie is Schlitzie. Here is a short video about him that I found. Most interesting: @4:03 in the video, you see Schlitzie with a beard and hair!

my grandad showed me this when I was five and he told me that they weren't people in costumes and that they went through a lot. I was pretty mature so i did not laugh at all but I was confused if the dwarfs I, thought they were like five but when he told me they were adults it blew my mind... He showed me version with the bad ending and it kinda left me scared. My family showed me a lot of morbid films when I was young

Just wanted to say that in my opinion it's not a horror it's a suspense drama and one of the saddest films I've seen

this is not a horror movie this was made to us to respect others and that all of us are different
