. I think Kelly and hermés bags are wonderful and all, but I can’t help but think some of the upper class are completely deluding themselves. The marketing scheme has made them absolutely manic to purchase whatever is offered. Respect to the power to buy whatever you want whenever you want and owning collections of luxury. At the same time, wish it was more tasteful in the sense that these people are willing to drop 6 figures to support that habit. Poor choice of words I think, but buying luxury should not be considered a career. A hobby yes, but career? I have a hard time accepting that.

Imagine being super happy that you took a massive amount of money into a store and bought exactly what you wanted then believing yourself to be lucky. I’ll tell you a secret…I can take $200 and buy exactly the bag I want every single time. Hell, some people can take $30 and buy exactly the bag they want and don’t have to suffer the indignity of a brand fabricating scarcity and jumping through hoops to get it.
