Welcome to English in a Minute! These are our fingertips.
So, what does it mean to have something at our fingertips? The only thing I see are my fingerprints.
D: Can you call my phone? I can’t find it.
A: Again? You are always losing your phone, Dan.
D: Do you know what? Forget it. I think I left it at home.
A: I could never leave the house without my phone. With it, the world is at my fingertips.
D: Maybe I don’t want the world to be that close.
If something is at your fingertips, it is very easy to get and use -- as if it is in our hands. We usually use this expression when talking about information or resources.

And that’s English in a Minute.
