It does seem like he improves his lie a bit but I was more distracted by the guy hitting the trash can and whistling so he knew what club to hit.

The PGA Tour has two options: suspend Reed for consistently flouting the rules, and generate some goodwill and PR around taking the ethical high ground; or two, do nothing and continue to capitalize on Reed's "villain" image.

Not gonna lie(no pun intended) I used to do the old trick of trying several different clubs behind the ball to get a better lie. I did that until I was called out for it by somebody, in my defense I legit didn't know it was illegal when I did it. I just assumed everybody did it until somebody told me. At the time I just figured as long as I wasn't touching my ball what I was doing was fine.
