I Had A GT Power light and sound kit, And well it comes with 50 some odd sound profiles but thats it. you are supposed to be able to download other sounds, but it was a hassle just to get the interface program, and it never worked because the CPU would never recognize the devise.
I bought one of these because im going to use the Traxxas Lights, and still wanted sound. This Video was helpful Beyond Belife. Thank you.

They are awesome great video!! I had the ess-one first version and recently put the new version in my tamiya truck and it's nice they made it much smaller and lighter than my first version.

Hey buddy this is a awesome how too video. I bought one of these units this evening on amazon for adding to my flagship mammoth. The crossrc sound system isn't cutting the mustard..Weak sound but nice effects such as air brakes etc. I tried everything to make the speaker quality better and louder with no luck. Ive had these dual essences before but been years ago. Now my only big problem is that I dont own a PC all Mac electronics lol..I'd like to custom program mine. thats my next hurtle once I get it.

I just plugged in a small deans connector lipo battery into the power. The trx4 has a specific spot for a 2nd small battery.
