I don’t like this idea, a lot of gardeners get enough root bond problems as is to stay away from biodegradable peat pots, a plastic bottle is way worse, that big air pocket by the roots from the bottle is also definitely enough to cause rotting in the roots and kill a transplant. Just plant in moist soil.
