Worth it? Genshin 3.6 Banner Review!

The 3.6 first phase banners have been revealed! The include Nahida, Nilou, Kuki Shinobu, Dori, and Layla. Accompanying them is also the thousand floating dreams and the key of khaj-nisut, plus come pretty decent 4 star weapons. Are they worth your primogems?

Going from c0 Nilou to c2 Nilou and hoping to get as many 4* constellations as possible. I wouldn't even mind losing a pity or two, it's so rare there's a banner with 4* characters I actually want.

This banner already had insane value for me personally with Nilou, Nahida and their weapons paired together, but Layla & Kuki just pushed to a whole new level.

Anyway, hope you all have fun wishing: I am skipping since I have Nahida and don’t plan to use plain bloom. Kuki constellations would be good, but I don’t want to deplete my fates with C6 Dori and C6 Layla.

I started playing this game less than a month ago and I am saving up my primogems for Nahida :D
I heard that she's quite powerful and fun to play.

My dream 5-star is Kazuha though, I hope he will get a rerun soon!

It's interesting that one of the 5* weapons is best in slot for 3 characters on the banner haha. Nilou, Kuki and Layla can all make great use of them. I got screwed on the weapon banner last time Key was on and I didn't even get jade cutter but jade spear >.< Hoping to get it this time maybe as I've fully built Kuki and Layla. Would also like to get Nilou since her teams seem really strong and fun, and constellations for Kuki and Layla are tempting (they're both c1 now). I think it's a good take that new players shouldn't be disappointed at any of the 4* on the weapon banner but the 5* are not worth it. For longer time players they might be though. If I get Nahida's signature it's not the end of the world since it just means Sucrose can have sac frags back. If I do get key I might get more refinements for Xiphos' which is probably the best 4* sword in the game for EM-scalers.

Yae is only good in aggravate, hu tao is only good in vape, Ayaka is only good in freeze, etc etc. Being “good at one thing” is restrictive, but it’s not the end all be all and it’s just something to consider, like the “would you rather have ayato who is ok everywhere or childe who is extremely good in one team” thing.

I have both Nahida and Nilou and neither of their weapons so I'm pulling one weapon off this weapon banner and will see what sticks. Even standard banner weapon would be welcome addition to my armory but I hope it'll be one of the two. Rest of my primos will wait for Baizhu.

Quick update: 142 pulls later, no Nahida. Lost the 50/50 and now I have a C3 Mona, which is alright. My Kuki is C6 now, my Dori is C2 now and my Layla is C3. So, not all bad. I am officially broke. :D

Now off to the grind to see if I can muster another 40 wishes before ~3 weeks are up.

As much as I was going to roll for nahida, I decided "Screw the meta. I'll roll for characters I like. Done and dusted. I don't like characters on the banner? Fine. I'll just save up for a different one."

Lucked into Shinobu off of standard banner, IIRC, and benched her for the longest time due to having not reached her ascension boss by that point. Still haven't tried her out in the advent of Dendro, but since I've had Nahida and am again skipping Nilou, will need to pass on constellations here. As to four-star reveals, weren't both halves of 3.5 revealed at the same time? Lemme know who's up for the Baizhu+Kaveh chase!

Would of liked Layla cons. Currently at C2. When she first came out it took 40 pulls to get her. Then got her twice on standard. Learned not to pull for 4 stars. I have Nahida so I'll be waiting for Eula which means I have plenty of time to save up again I'm at 40 wishes so far!

If you don't have Nahida get her. I have her at C0 and can't imagine not having her.

Shark, I got a question. Would Baizhu or Nahida be better for Aggravate Cyno? Who would be better for Hyperbloom/Quickbloom Cyno? I'd like to know this to help me save primos. Your guides are one of the few I watch because they're so beginner friendly, keep it up!

Imo the 4-stars on this banner are highly questionable

I was expecting something like barbara and xinqui but NONE of them synergizes with Super bloom

Not to mention that Dori and Kuki being together is pretty redundant because they do the same job .-.

I can yeet Kuki on a tighnari team but other than that i really am confused on what I'm going to do with a c6 Kuki/Dori with Nahida in a super bloom team.

Wanted to wish for nahida, but I need for my keching-team a Dendro-healer so I will be the first in line to wish for beizhu when he drops. :D
