It’s 2017 on a Saturday, I just got back home from a rec soccer match, the stupid ones where you get a fruit role up afterwards. I take off my stuff and me and my brothers sit down on our old brown couch to play this game because it was brand new. I watch my brothers play and destroy the first bokoblin camp with admiration and pride. and every sunny and cloudy Saturday morning me and my brothers would play, and we would laugh, and we would talk, and it was so beautiful and comforting and perfect and messy and fun. My dad would make us pancakes in the kitchen across the dining room. I could remember getting syrup on the controller. And I wish I would stay in that memory forever. My brothers went to college, what was it, five years ago now, it’s been six since I’ve played the game. The soundtrack is still breathtaking and I wish I could go back to those Saturdays when life was simpler because those were the days I felt the most joy. I hope that if there is an afterlife, I get to play Zelda with my brothers forever. And I would give anything to be a kid again because I miss my brothers, and I miss this game, and I miss those Saturdays. I love you Vinny and Sal❤

Update: I beat the game for the first time yesterday with my brothers again :, ) cannot believe it’s been 7 years.

It's been 5 Years since i've got my Switch and played BOTW for the first time. Now i'm playing Tears of the Kingdom to relieve the experience again. What an incredible experience i've been given! Thank you so much Nintendo!

Years go by and I still re-visit this video. There will always be a nostalgic search in my soul for a feeling that only this game has provided me in my lifetime. Never have I been so beautifully engrossed and captivated by any piece of media. The feeling of exploring Hyrule; the beautiful sense of wonder that you met on every single nook and cranny of this world.

Also, this game takes me back to a very beautiful time in my life, personally. One were my heart seemed so far away from hurting. But time changes all. And kingdoms that once ruled our hearts eventually fall into obscurity, where only faint glimmer of a memory remains.

I will forever be grateful for this experience, whatever comes in the future, i must face it with strength and courage :)

I'm still working my way through Tears of the Kingdom at the moment, and just relistening to this made me remember the very first time I played Botw. I had so much fun playing through it, even battles were hard I still managed to get through it (never forgiving Nintendo on how hard Naboris blight ganon was)
I wish I could have sudden memory loss of playing the game and doing it all over again ❤️❤️
