Pune: BJP MP Medha Kulkarni Sparks Controversy After Painting Green Wall Into Saffron

A new Political controversy has emerged in Pune. And that too, over the color of a wall near Sadashiv Peth. The alleged controversy has sparked debates across party lines. The whole issue began when BJP Rajya Sabha MP Medha Kulkarni, along with her party workers, painted a green wall saffron. Kulkarni justified the act as a step to uphold ""Hindu pride"" . The incident has drawn sharp criticism, particularly from the opposition Uddhav faction leader Sushma Andhare. BJP Rajya Sabha MP Kulkarni later addressed the issue. She claimed “walls in the city should not be deliberately painted green”. She further suggested that the color green could carry “contentious connotations”.
