Brigette has been my best friend for 30 years and I can tell you all that she is as lovely, creative and adorable IRL as this video portrays. I seriously am so thrilled by how accurate this is. Her apartment feels like an immersion into safety, a painting, and chic comfort. I am so proud of her, and I am so happy to see such kind and wonderful comments. Love you so much my Brig. I am blown away by you.

I absolutely adore her “everyone deserves to love the space that they live in…even if it’s just temporary” motto. This apartment is stunning.

Love her reasoning for spending money on her space even as a renter. Your home is your safe haven from the craziness of the world! I would totally do the same in her shoes and I LOVE her space so much! It's very much HER!! ❤

I’m so intimidated by all of these creative and stylish women in New York making these tiny apartments into beautiful spaces. This is gorgeous. Even her cat has so much style and attitude.

I don’t know what I love more… her, the apartment, or the cat for not knocking over all of her beautiful things. This is by far my favorite Apartment Therapy episode! Great job girl 🥰

Every moment I thought, this is one of the most gifted design artist I have seen. Completely genuine and as natural as water flows. You are a master already Brigette.

I know you said you shouldn't do that as a renter but I'm sure your landlord would LOVE this look cause this is gorgeous T_T !

I grew up in a railroad apartment in Brooklyn, NY in the late ‘40’s and ‘50’s. The only room with a door was the toilet. The shower was in with the toilet, just a shower head that sprayed on some tile, about a 3’ square space. The only sink was in the kitchen. Two front windows, two windows at the back of the apartment. Linoleum floor. No hot water, my dad put in a water heater tank. Fire escape off the rear window. We were 2 blocks from the East River looking at lower Manhattan. $27.00 month rent. It went up to $35 by the time we moved. It’s nice to see these old apartments renovated. Beautiful job.

Usually, I am not a fan of brass hardware everywhere as I fear it may date quickly, but in keeping with an Old-world esthetic, the brass here really adds an elegant touch. I saw this apartment in a video done previously, and almost skipped this, but glad I didn't, seeing what she did with the bathroom alone was worth it. A dressing room in a small space...that's got me thinking. Thanks AT

I’m speechless. It’s not even my style and I could just sit in that apartment all day and just look. It’s absolutely perfect.

The cat is so sweet and so relaxed in its space. Always so cool seeing well loved and happy animals and the people who take so much care of them.

I have rented my entire life by choice. I'm in my mid 70's and feel as Brigette does. I didn't want the responsibility of owning so doing upgrades and renovations on my apartment was a no brainer. Everyone always comments on how beautiful my space is in one breath and then feels it's foolish to spend my money on the landlord's property in the next. I've ignored them all and loved pretty much all the spaces I've lived in. Do what makes you happy and to heck with the nay-sayers. Your home is absolutely gorgeous Brigette.

For a rent controlled apartment in Brooklyn it's a great idea to spend & invest in pieces you love. Most NY'ers live in rent controlled apartments for YEARS!!!

This girl is a natural. She has the vision of taking a white rented box and turn it into a vintage high end space. She’s very beautiful too.

I love my mother's mirror. There's something magical about knowing her face looked back at her from the same mirror I'm using! What a lovely home!!

I’m ten minutes in and already the worst part about this video is it’s too short. She seems so authentic and the way she conceptualizes decor (plus the way she EXPLAINS why and how she did it) is yummy to my brain. Can’t forget to mention the space and her hair are fabulous. ❤❤❤ 12/10 for showing where the litter box + ugly day-to-day stuff lives.

Loved the way they showed the cat after she described "hiding" the litterbox. As if the cat was saying "What's wrong with seeing my litterbox?"😊
