The Budget Of this Movie was a full Gas Tank.

You can really contrast the level of maturity between the people who actually appreciate and enjoy the great story in this film, and the simpletons who say this movie is "boring" because there are no explosions or gunfights.

Tom's character, Ivan, fucked up because of one mistake and his life went spiraling out of control. Tom gave us a taste of how it feels when you screw up badly and how someone feels when he/she realizes that he/she is on the verge of losing his/her family, their career and most importantly, themselves.

To me one of the reasons why Tom was so exceptional in this movie was because of the simplicity in his acting. He never overdid anything, he was never too dramatic(which I think many would be like in such a movie, because come on, let's face it, all that happens in this movie is a man driving and driving while answering phone calls. Even though the concept is interesting, it ought to be boring and actors would try to add more suspense or drama to it and make everything all the more melodramatic).

He let things play out by themselves and performed in his own way-- Tom Hardy style.

This movie is the equivalent of sitting in a car with someone for a 1.5 hour ride on the highway and listening to alternating phone conversations of their most stressful life dramas on bluetooth the entire time.

I wasn't sure I'd be able to watch the whole film but Tom pulled it off and I have to give credit to the voice actors, they did a great job especially Donal

saw it in Austin sunday/18th. this is one magnificent movie. killer.  on the edge of my seat, start to finish. i saw the one-man show with Redford last year and was disappointed. not this time. one guy, in a car, driving and talking to wife, boss, assistant, sons and other very important people...trying to manage three major crises that have come to a head because of one simple mistake he made the previous year...he has to get somewhere, has to, has to...and time is getting shorter. astoundingly well done in every respect...acting, writing, visuals, sound, editing.  i can't say enough good things about it.
