Your haircut is the best! I took screengrabs to show my hairdresser. I’m waiting for my hair to grow after a disastrous curly cut in a prestigious salon. I have the same problem with the triangle shape. I try to go to each haircut appointment explaining that my hair tends to have a triangle shape if it's not cut right and bring in an example pic of what I want my hair to look like but after I've washed it at home and my hair dries, I'm still dealing with the triangle shape unless I straighten it. Any chance you can ask your stylist if "hidden layers" is a universal term amongst hair stylists? I'm concerned my stylist might not derive the same meaning from it.

My hair is definitely not as thick as it used to be. I have medium textured hair that's fine but because it's so curly it seems like I have a lot of hair. I feel like it could be due to numerous things, namely colouring it over the years, hormones, genetics, supplements, etc. I'm in Ontario and will finally get a haircut soon. I think I will try a new cut on my 3b curls. Your hair colour and style look lovely by the way!

I have the complete opposite problem.
I have upside down triangle problem. Big blocky chunky layer around my face and then thin wispy layers so I look like a jellyfish.
The bottom parts of my hair around my neck and almost completely straight, and my hair gets curlier as it gets toward my forehead, both problems have this in common: hairdressers are lazy and don't want to pay attention to difficult textures on your head, and don't want to take the time to dry cut your curls to make the shape look balanced. They just want to wet it and cgut it into Jennifer anniston 1994 hair, the same one size fits all style theyve been doing on everyone since they took their first hair course 30 years ago.
