Trijntje's treatment of any song is simply magic. She brings the song alive. The only other singer who did this was the Late Great Eva Cassidy. Trijntje also does Bacharach songs better than anyone else. I am a New Zealander married to a Dutch lady so I found Trijntje just a few years ago. She is truly one of the best on this planet

Well I’ve listened to this four times now. This last time, with ear buds in, eyes closed, reclining, and focusing on her lovely voice... this performance is pure perfection. Perfect pitch, velvety tone, phrasing and timing are tremendous, and then the instrumental accompaniment. Perfect all around. Frankly, I think it’s better than the original which was undeniably perfect too.
