Exploring Henryton: Ruins in the Maryland Woods

A meditative walk through the woods, in search of Henryton State Hospital, an abandoned medical facility near Baltimore rumored (naturally) to be the site of frequent hauntings and other supernatural disturbances. This film was put together from footage recorded in Dec. 2011. The hospital itself has since been destroyed.

Headphones wearers will pick up on the one mysterious phenomenon we encountered that day. Probably it was nothing. Though maybe...

(Also of note: the tunnel featured in the video is the oldest functional railroad tunnel in the US, and third-oldest in the world.)

Never got to visit before things were torn down - actually went to the grounds today to see the overgrowth. Thanks for posting this! Must've been incredible to see the grounds while things were still up.

I had many good times hanging out and exploring here. I even had some paranormal experiences. I remember I talked with security while on the property and they said they didn’t mind people on the property during the day but once it got dark u had to leave..

I went there one time and explored. I did not have any EVP or ghost stuff but I did feel a lot of presences. we found the basement crematorium area where they burned bodies from tuberculosis and not only was the place itself having scary vibes, all the energy from the past was crawling at my skin.

I've been there on Halloween twice at night deff creepy place we got pictures of orbs and faces in a window in pitch black hallways crazy they finally tore it down

Went there with friends at night once, a door slammed shut in front of us, and later we saw a demon ghost in one of my photos. Shit was real there!
