Santana did a superb job dipicting Carnaval parade (not just that tho') in this movie! He's local, so he knows what he's talkin' about in "Rio". Great tunes, funny jokes, real Carnaval mood...the 'spirit' of the city is right there, and I loved it!

For those who have no idea of what's like during Rio's Carnaval Official Parade, Look for "Unidos da Tijuca 2011" by DEVAAAFUL (13:24 min long) here on Youtube. Unidos da Tijuca's the name of the 'school of samba' that was people's fav. to win this year's parade....unfortunately, it didn't make it! The theme was: TONIGHT I'LL TAKE YOUR SOUL AWAY (fear in movies)! Enjoy it! (in time, each 'school' has 65minutes to parade).

@coldshoulder14 it can be wild, man! ;-) OK, it's fun, people are light & breezy (sometimes, too much!) not just in that official parade with the Escolas de Samba, but along many streets and avenues. The movie successfully dipicted it. I hope Will i Am's character will stand out more, in case there'll be a sequel.
