With the fire on high and firekeepers daughter is on my tbr for 2024. I'm doing it for a mashup reading challenge. Those books fit my prompts for Indigenous author and book set in your home town. I haven't heard of Love and Saffron but I love the cover. So that can work for a read based on cover. I've read parable of the sower before but I never got to the second one. One of my challenges is to complete a duology, and it's in my spreadsheet suggestions. Who fears death has been on my bookshelf for over a decade. I should definitely prioritize reading the books I've owned before 2016/2017. (When I first stumbled across booktube)

I vote From Scratch, A Caribbean Heiress in Paris, definitely The God of Good Looks!

The Unit sounds like the movie the Lobster. In the Lobster if you couldn’t find a romantic partner by a certain time then you would be turned into the animal of your choosing. It’s a wild movie.
