As someone who always closes the park down.. it certainly works... EXCEPT: be sure what you want to do does not cross paths with the parade route.

NOTE: Even if a ride looks like it's closed.. It's open. We weren't planning on going to see the first parade.... Instead we noticed that there was no line for the haunted mansion. Could it be that it was closed? We took a chance and walked all the way up to the door and knocked on it. To our thrill, a ghoulish castmember opened the creaky door just a bit and answered, "yes?" We rode the ride...all alone. BEST NIGHT EVER!!

I have a testtrack hack that’s me approved, what you do is make your car in the shop next to the ride, then go through the single rider line, it lets you still test a car while waiting in a usually much shorter line

Truth depending on what you're schedule is the next day. If not much the 2nd parade fireworks and Hocus Pocus is better.

Honestly the party was the very best part of our trip in 2017! We rode so many rides late & during the parade it was insane!

Disney has to be has to be for Little kids to ride on different kinds of rides because they cannot just use the same one everything of a Disneyland is so actually very funny because because because something will happen to little kids of they don't want to ride the a different ride it is actually so funny because I never see the kids who wanted to stay on the same ride But I like Disneyland❤❤ I like Disneyland a lot🎉🎉❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂

We watched one of the parades in 1993 when I was a baby but ever since then, we’ve skipped them all because it’s prime riding time🎠🎢🎡! Lines are so much shorter when 60% of people are gathered on Main Street!!

(This goes for regular hours or any holiday party. However, I know the holiday parades are special and probably worth it, especially to families with young children. Just saying, if you’re someone who isn’t that excited about parades, do as much riding as you can!)
