As a regular user of 010 Editor since more than two years, I can tell that this is undoubtedly the best hex editor on the market, and by far.

Didier Stevens made an excellent script called pecheck, that I used to use a lot, for removing overlays, etc. :) Absolutely agree, he has some good tools!

Hello, I am just trying to do a simple find a hex line and replace it, is there an easy way to do that? I use to use HexFeind which is much simpler, but can you tell me how to do that? I need to open a file and just need to find the hex line and replace it with another row of numbers.. Thanks for the video and any help.

The SOTA of hex editors, maybe only surpassed by ImHex (which is despite that distinctly more complicated to use).

Like and Subscribe I am having an awful time creating a custom BINARY Template. I finally have the ability to read the header and Even had different colors to highlight all my fields. But i got greedy and tried running through my RLE structure for the body and lost colors and dont know how to find dynamic variables fields despite having the source code. Of course the most important ones i need are encoded somewhere at the last line spread out for each file compiled to make the rle. Any chance you do a new video how to write custom. Idk what script im using constantly have functions not usable
