Let's take a moment to appreciate just how amazing an accomplishment this is.

In case you haven't noticed, even English VTubers release covers of JP songs far more often than EN songs. And it's the same reason that you know "unarchived karaoke" means they'll be singing in English, while an archived karaoke is all Japanese like 99.9% of the time (the 0.1% is when Calli does an entire karaoke of her own originals, which I know has happened at least once). And that's because of a difference in how copyrights work.

So in all likelihood, this cover was done with the rightsholders' blessing. Granted, if you had a song called "Angel with a Shotgun" and you got word that a VTuber who was an actual angel with a shotgun wanted to cover it, once someone explained what a VTuber was, would you say no?
