Unboxing of: Jaeger-Lecoultre Master Control Chronograph Calendar

The watchmakers' watchmaker. That's the title the watchmaking industry gave Jaeger-Lecoultre (do you even know how to pronounce it?) because they literally made watchmaking, and the big brands like Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin etc all once relied on Jaeger-Lecoultre to help them make their movements.

However, despite their importance and significance in watchmaking, Jaeger-Lecoultre remained a relatively unknown brand when compared to the likes of Rolex and Hublot. But that's the charm of the brand and this watch itself. Low profile, understated, quiet, just like the quiet genius in the class who always sits at the back corner. This watch is also, in my humble opinion, a statement by Jaeger-Lecoultre that they are not just about their Reversos, because this is easily the most handsome watch in their long line-ups and rich history.
