PlayStation Makes A Surprising Partnership & An Interesting Metroid Crossover Revealed? | News Wave

Yesterday Sony announced a partnership with Discord to bring the service to PlayStation and work to bridge the gap between their platform and mobile. In a series of newly revealed documents from Epic Games, it looks like there were plans for a Metroid Fortnite crossover that could still be in the works.

It's crazy how nintendo went from having it's own social media in miiverse on the 3ds and wii u, to having no way at all to just talk to your friends on the switch. The wii u even had a feature where you could call another wii u and have a video call, so why can the switch at least have built in messaging? it makes no since especially since now nintendo is way richer, and we are paying 20 dollars a year for the online service. I get why they shutdown miiverse, but we should still have basic communication features.

Regarding Metroid Prime 4, I believe Nintendo's quiet about it because they don't want to rush the game just to satisfy the impatience of a few people. Since Metroid's reputation has gone down since Other M was released, Nintendo likely sees this as a chance to bring the hopes of the franchise back up.
