LIVE FROM GOP HQ ON ELECTION NIGHT: The Georgia Republican Party is holding an election night watch party in Atlanta as the nation awaits results from both of Georgia’s runoff races for seats in the U.S. Senate. Sen. Kelly Loeffler, who was appointed to her seat and never elected, and Sen. David Perdue both face Democratic challengers in races that will determine control of the Senate and likely whether Biden will face partnership or obstruction in enacting his agenda. Ever since before Election Day, Pres. Donald Trump has accused the election of being rigged, especially in Georgia. Just yesterday at a final rally for Loeffler and Perdue, Trump again urged his supporters to reject the results in Georgia, causing some Republicans to question whether his election rejection rhetoric might affect turnout in the critical election.
