SO chilling. Intoxicating in the most twisted way! Just BEAUTIFUL how perfectly the lyrics and sound capture the emotions of being used and so destroyed by someone you love and by something that's turned poison but still feels incredibly safe. I've been listening to this specific song, on repeat, over the past few days! And then too, the whole album! ALWAYS 💗

But the first time I listened through the album, this song immediately pulled me in and stopped my thoughts and it is CHILLING how listening to this song takes you straight to the emotional place of wanting a glorious poison. Katherine's part at the beginning "take me to your place, you set me on fire etc." is the most intense part for me because it slows down and her voice is SO alluring and just this feeling of awe, but also calming, gentle and it just FEELS LIKE MANIPULATION!! But like the most beautiful, deceptive manipulation.

REAL TALK; I love this song but it scares me that Lauren wrote this because it describes what sounds like a really emotionally abusive relationship and I know they write songs from experience.
