OzIris front seat on-ride 4K POV @60fps Parc Astérix Asterix

This gorgeous B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) inverted coaster opened in 2012 and is themed around the Asterix and Cleopatra comic book series as well as the live action Asterix and Obelix Meet Cleopatra and animated Twelve Tasks of Asterix movies. Standing 131 feet (40 m) drop with a top speed of 56 mph (90 km/h), it also features five inversions and was the first invert with a dive loop.
Parc Astérix is located north of Paris in Plailly, France.

Great ride. Still holds up despite Toutatis now being a few steps away, that first drop is WICKED, probably the best in the park. The little straight downhill segment after the loop is really surprising because you suddenly stop being pressed into your seat for a second, before the positive G’s kick again as you enter the Immelmann. Every inversion is fantastic, a perfect combination of float and intensity.

Such a brilliant invert. It's second only to Montu for me. Great layout and just super super smooth.

Yes there are probably a handful of course, but not many inverted coasters start with an inversion that isn’t a straight vertical loop. Nemesis comes to mind, and I suppose Alpengeist too.

Actual beast of a coaster. I prefer it to Toutatis, since I enjoy sustained positive Gs and whippy inversions to pops of airtime.

Okay, I’m confused again. I’m pretty sure it’s OzIris with a capital i. I could be wrong, but anyway, this is my favorite coaster I’ve never ridden because of its beautiful color scheme, theme, and atmosphere. Nice POV!

this would be cool if they painted it the new blue and yellow from montu but wow its simmilar but i think it looks even more intence no mid corse break
