You may have heard of Martin Luther King

Introducing: Martin Losing Queens

In the first game Martin is definitely a paid actor😂

Also: 4:38 i like how Nelson is like a spoiled kid of rich parents in the mall." I want this one, and this one, and ooohh also this one"

i would have loved to se an analyse of the last game where you went from 133 to martin having a 133

my thought on the first game is that the position almost forces martin to make "good" moves because the only pieces that can move are his most forward pawns and thus the vast majority of available moves are good ones.

2:32 It was at this point when both Martin and Nelsi in their infinite GM wisdom decided to repeat moves as the position was a guaranteed draw.

8:15 Your M2 was Qhg7+. Martin can only play Qf7, at which point Q7xf7#.

I was super impressed with how you worked out he had mate in x so swiftly, and then I realised the game just tells you in the top left. So now I'm just super impressed with, y'know, everything else.

Martin being super aggressive with the pawns in the first game I think makes sense for a bot with a low depth since "takes with the pawn" is, at worst, a trade, so it probably always reads as gaining in material and thus a high value move. I think that's why he can also usually spot mate in 1 or 2 but anything beyond that he rarely finds except by accident. This would also explain why he's a lot worse with so many queens, because trading a queen for a pawn is something that reads as obviously BAD at a low search depth since he'd need to be able to see farther into the future to recognize the value of a sacrifice, so he's more conservative despite having enough queens that he can probably just brute force tunnel his way through all your pawns with them.

just love the theoretical GM draw in game one. High level stuff

5:17 thats probably the biggest eval swing I've ever seen in a non-mate position +133 to the brinks of defeat -133

I love the analysis “yeah I was afraid of that” after a pawn takes a piece. “There’s just so many pawns” 😂

Seems like Martin doesn't want to lose a queen to get a pawn.

Martin with pawn:🥶🥶
Martin with queens:🥸

4:23 this is actually better for having pawns because in this position the both of the pieces do the same thing, and since he has more pawns, he can just trade if all pieces and still have pawns left over for promotion.

There are very few different moves when all you can move is your front pawns. It makes sense that it plays better.

Martin can only see an M2 or M1. Anything else (M3 or deeper), Martin struggles to see.
Also, at 9:50, can't you have played c6+ ? You would win Martin's last queen...
