Custom Built Security Door w/Half Knuckles

I built this door for someone that had their off-the-shelf security door ripped open and their front door kicked in. That was right before their property grew legs and walked out the front door.

Had some issues with that perforated sheet metal distorting from welding on it. Usually it's riveted in place, but that didn't work so well on the last door. So, we made this one a little tougher.

Great door. I want to fabricate security doors and gates. I'm wondering if a pulse mig like the everlast unit I have been looking at would have had better luck of not warping the perforated sheet metal.

Am building something like this but using alu composite for the door skin. I wonder if so many cross braces are necessary...
