Questacon – the National Science and Technology Centre is a leader in presenting world class creative, interactive science exhibitions and programmes in Canberra, Australia. It is a museum with more than 200 interactive exhibits relating to science and technology. It has many science programs that are intended to inspire the children of Australia to love science. Each year Questacon reaches over three million people, delivering over six million hours of inspiration through a diverse range of experiences.
There are various galleries of exhibitions at Questaton Canberra.
The Ramp has photographic and interactive displays.
On the way in, the Foyer has a Robot, the Clockwork Universe, the Cam Wave and the Shop.
RoboQ is an adaptive robot that receives input from sensors to perform physical movements or produce vocal responses. Its parts can be classified as either Sensors, Controllers or Actuators.
Fundamental Exhibition in Gallery 2 explores Classic Science in different ways.
Awesome Earth Exhibition in Gallery 3 looks at natural disasters and geology, featuring a Tesla coil and an earthquake simulator.
Q Lab in Gallery 4 has dynamic experiment space designed to inspire the inner scientist.
MiniQ is an exhibition designed for children between the ages of 0 and 6. Exhibits include a water play area, a construction zone, and a quiet area.
Mars Gallery has displays from ancient mythologies to modern interactive media.
