This show series is the absolute best on Television.! I hope that Tommy and Richard and everyone else continues for as long as they can because I refuse to watch the horrible programming on Television and it's quality programming and other things that make this show the huge success that it is.!

A great story to well deserving folks. Congrats on the accomplishments of getting through this mighty project. Doing these projects yourself certainly gives you an appreciation of how difficult it is to do these jobs correctly. I always take on projects at my home and quickly realize that the skills needed are not really developed until the project is done. So everything takes extra time when your not a pro. Usually three or four times as long. Good job TOH for jumping into this project.

I was born and raised in Detroit in a neighborhood not far from this one. I truly miss these great houses. I have also been a fan of TOH since it began in '79. One of the things I don't like about the show is that they don't talk about cost anymore. When it started with Bob Villa, he would wrap up most episodes with a list of costs. I often wonder if they spend more than the neighborhood can bare. I am not talking about "quick flipping". I am talking about realistic improvements and some expectation of a return on investment 15 or so years down the road.
